Second Sunday Showcase Artists Fundraiser

We’re delighted to perform June 11 at Artists Palooza’s Second Sunday Showcase artists fundraiser. After learning that some political folks are using the term Snowflake as a derogatory term, we’re proudly playing a set of our environmentally themed originals. We love our planet and want it to be habitable beyond our time here. So, for this show, no UFO songs, no positive energy songs, no love songs. Climate change is real.

We love the Phoster app for making gig posters. And we love playing electric shows with Tom Gonzalez on drums. Rock you soon!

UPDATE: We didn’t take a single picture last night. How did that happen? It was a fun vibe opening for Eagles tribute group Best Of My Love. We played as a duo because our drummer Tom was too sick to make it out. Usually we go acoustic when it’s just the two of us. But the electric guitar and amp were all rigged up. When the the music starts up, we always have fun with it. There was some creative echo that magically appeared on the vocal. Funny how the echos seemed at least as loud as the original. Funny as in, well, nevermind… It actually was fun making spooky Halloween sounds with it.

Trailer Release Party – Mental Health Awareness

Snowflakes is proud to contribute a performance tonight for a film, The Forgotten Heartbeat, promoting mental health awareness. Pics to follow. Mini red carpet. Great cause.

Edit: The event was lovely. Amanda’s trailer is compelling. Her movie deserves to be made. The mysteries of electronics made the PA unavailable. So we just played acoustically. The electric bass worked because we just plugged the amp into an outlet.  We were really touched by how carefully people listened. The Medusa in Silverlake was the locale. Photos by Haldane Morris
